Initially it showed some signs of life and indicators started but didn't had enough power to start the engine. So i tried to charge the battery from my car. And now no signs of life nothing happens even the oil check light won't start. Then I replaced the battery and placed a brand new one which is fully charged. Still there is no sign of life its not even showing oil check light or any other indication of life. Did i burned the electrical system when I tried to charge it? Is there anything that I can do at home to atleast start it and take it to the shop? I am relatively new biker and just started few months ago so don't have much knowledge about it. I do however have repair manual for the bike but it wasn't much useful.

How was the bike stored? Exposed to the elements or covered? Could a critter have been snacking on the wiring? Have you checked the fuses?
