So where is this handlebar mounted choke at? I've got a 2005 and I don't see one. Even on the link from the homepage here it mentions one:

My manual doesn't mention one, but if you google for vulcan 500 handlebar mounted choke you'll get tons of pages that mention it??

Oh, and will Vulcan 800 Engine Guard/Highway bars really fit the 500?? I've seen the Vulcan 500 engine guard and it's a joke. Tiny little worthless thing. Thanks for any replies. I've got about 170 miles on my 2005 500 in the week I've had it...
