I run a 12t front and standard rear on little tight tracks but run a 15t front on long dirt road rides 15t is really tight to get chain on though, i think standard is 14t but mines is a 96 dunno if they would be differant. i think 1t down on the front is supposed to be equivelant to 3 up on the rear
