Default Bug Removal

Ever been on one of those "absolutely beautiful day to ride" kind of rides, just enjoying the sunshine and perfect temps then all of a sudden you hit it.....a solid wall of bugs that go on FOREVER and feel and sound like you just got shot with something? Then seconds later you realize your bike going to be a mess to clean up. Well having lived in South Louisiana for a while I learned quickly how to get rid of "Love Bugs" easily or spend hours out there with a bug pad trying to scrub them off my paint with out jacking it up.

Now I know this is almost a cardinal sin to some, but if you'll wet the bugs down with water and allow them to soak up the water for about a minute and then wipe them down with a new dryer sheet, you can then come back with a damp cloth and wipe them off in about 2-3 minutes.

The down side to this is that the dryer sheet will leave a haze if you don't get it completely rinsed off but it sure does beat spending hours and hours out there scrubbing and boogering up your brand new custom polyurethane paint job.
