msh... T wasn't trying to go against the grain. Stock is not always perfect but the common thread here when some inquires about bike A or B is to immediately tell them to get a new seat because the stocker sucks. Everyone is different. I would not suggest that someone change seats without seeing how the original works. My thread had nothing to do with stock is better. We were simply discussing how long it takes to get your butt acustomed to riding. Body types and riding styles differ, so, if your case dictates a new seat, by all means get one. Most folks modify their bikes... we all do it at one time or another, but there are two sides to every issue.
