Question - Pirelli Supercorsa Pros
A friend of mine told me that these tyres (the top of the line Pirelli road tyres), though they do provide awesome grip in the dry, need lots of work to warm up and get them up to temperature, and that they can be unpredictable if not at optimal operating temperature, i.e. either you're carving the twisties like a mofo or you're better off on something like Corsa IIIs.
Have any of you used these tyres? Feedback?
I ask as, since my idea is to move my riding more to the track than the street, I would like a grippier tyre than the Corsa IIIs I currently run. However, as I will still be doing some road-riding, I do not want a tyre that will not provide me with optimal grip on the street, without needing to ride as if I'm on the track!!!
Thanks.
