Not meaning to rain on your parade, however have you factored in maintenance costs along the way of aging equipment? The only reason I bought the KLR was for practicality. Fuel economy, "carpool lane" and parking availability. After that the KLR would have amounted to a "toy". Instead the KLR is a fun "tool".
