the good thing about living in MS is that there are a bunch of tiny highways that are relatively smooth and travel is at a minimum on them. so i can get my feet wet and get used to the feeling of speed in relative safety. id hate to jump on a well-traveled highway and have to worry about my speed and all the cars around me.
for all its faults MS is good for some things

LOL and it is great to share the experiences...some people hit 60 and higher long ago, and some of us are getting there for the first time. i thought my old KX125 was pretty fast topped out in 6th...but its terribly slow compared to the rocket i have now. im just happy to be back on 2 wheels
