When I bought my 500 the dealership was incredibly generous. They gave me just enough gas to get home, practice in a parking lot for a couple minutes, and then get on to the freeway when I was feeling more comfortable. Unfortunately, they weren't generous enough to give me enough gas to also get off of the freeway
When I bought my 600 (from the same dealership) the first stop was a gas station about a block from the dealership.
