Personaly i think a better designed seat would be better than those. I have a friend who has a really hard seat and says that it is the most comfortable thing ever. Those stock seats on the bikes are really meant just to feel good on the show room floor. Look at some farmers, their tractors have metal seats, yet they can ride those all day.
