I just don't know why people now think a 4 door is an obligatory part of parenthood. Yeah, getting in and out is a little easier, but once they're in it's all the same. Isn't a little extra effort worth it, if it means driving the car you want? |
He's only 10mos old, so no top is not an option yet. When he's older and can take the wind and such. I got a carseat that matches my red and black wet okole seat covers, so it does look kinda cool. The problem is, when it's in there is no room in the front seat for a passenger.
I would imagine 4drs would be better in the event of an accident. Just a guess, but it may be easier for the first responders to get the kids out of the back in a 4dr. You ever look at the prices on the 4dr Wranglers? I walked through one lot, and said, If I ever pay $36K for a Wrangler, I'm going to drive out to the middle of the woods, and shoot myself in the middle of my forehead. I payed $26K for mine, but justified it by it having Dana 44s and a 6spd. I remember saying the YJs were for yuppies, then the TJ, now, I have to say the KJ takes the yuppie cake. V6, power windows what the heck is that? Next they'll have a powered soft top. God save us all.
