I am not for sure that the rode it like I stole it [art sounds like a good Idea either! This is my first break in and top end rebuild but that seems like it would be very hard on the new parts that need to be seated properly.

If you really want to use 32:1 then go ahead.

I wouldn't but to each their own.

Are you using a cheapo oil that needs to be mixed rich?

If so maybe give Amsoil a try sometime....its not cheap, but you mix it leaner saving a bt of cost, and the parts stay cleaner, and the lubrication quality is first rate.

I pop a lot of 2 strokes apart for work, and the Amsoil motors generally look better than most.
If you want to use other oils then fine, regualr yamaha 2 stroke oil seems to be good....Blue marble oil is good to.....yes, there are other good oils, but I personally like those three, with Amsoil by far the best.
I avoid castrol 2 stroke like a plague.
