Thanks for the advice guys. I see extra lights and louder in horns in my future as well. I would hate to put one on every time but I see a bright green vest in my future as well.
Incidentally, I had a friend and my brother pick up my wrecked bike a couple days ago. From the neck forward the bike is shot. I do not know if the frame is bent or not. Other than a few scratches, scratched tailpipes, dented gas tank, broken footrest, and messed up saddlebag, the rest of the bike looks to be in fair shape. Do you guys have an opinion on a rebuilt bike? I bought the bike new and it only had 473 miles on it at the time of the wreck. I want the bike replaced with another new one just like it by the ladies insurance, but if this doesn't work out, what do you all think of a rebuild? I know this is not something I would want to tackle by myself although I would love to learn how to do it.
