Can pull out in 4th gear from a dead stop.
Wife and I were on the way home and I thought I'd taken a wrong turn so I pulled off to chat with her and get our bearing. I could have sworn I'd down shifted. So I go to take off and she argues with me a little bit so I just figured I was in second. So, I just slowly work the clutch out as I pick up speed and she complies well enough. As I get up to speed, I shift up and continue on. I go to shift again and nothing. Every other time I've ridden her, she's been a five speed and I don't think this time was any different! Ha ha!
