hey Jeff just came back from a thee day road trip with the wife and the only time she uses the passenger control is to talk on the CB radio , a lot of riders take them off to keep them out of the way. If you want to control the volume in one headset to be louder then the other you must buy a in line volume control to turn down the louder headset, the in line control does not amplify.
