Ok, this has been a very pleasant surprise so I thought I would share my sucess with everyone and save you some $.
Shortly after I bought my '05 Mean Streak, I went on to remove the emblems on the tank and also the ones on side covers, only to discover that there was a 1.5 inch round dent right behind the left side emblem of the tank (you know where the round part of the emblem is). Adding that fact and the slight rashes on the emblem itself and the left-side mirror edge I concluded that the previous owner must have dropped the bike at very slow speed. The dent was noticeabel enough that I got tired of explaining to folks who check out an otherwise pretty cool bike.
Well, finally I decided to get the dent fixed so I can put some cool decals on. I thought about taking it in to Dent Wizard or similar shop but thought I should check for solutions I can do myself first. I read about the Dry Ice solution but since the dented area was relative small I didn't think there would be enough pressure generated to push the metal out. Then I ran into this product during onlne searches. I must admit being skeptical but decided to give it a try (plus thinking it may be handy for car dents thanks to my wife .
The kit took about a week to arrive, I tried it Sunday night and to my surprise, it REALLY WORKS! I had to use it 4 times moving the pull tab around different spots to get the dent out completely but it really really works!
If you are in the Charlotte, NC area and you have a dent on your bike you want some help with, bring your bike and some beers over
I bought the Supreme Kit but you don't really need it, I used only 1/3 of the cleaning solution and small part of the glue stick. So just the basic kit would do.
