well i am new to posting things online but i thought that people should know about a problem with the new zx 10r i bought mine in july and i did not have any problems until yesterday when the when the bike rev to over10000 rpm by its self and stayed their of about 40seconds it almost bucked me. i was on my way to my local dealer for a service so luckly i was just around the corner.the bike did settle and went back to normal i went in and talked to the sales person and the tech and they both said that was definatly never heard of that happening before and the salesmen has 08 zx 10 to they said ride it home and we will call kaw in the a.m.so i tried to leave the bike started fine i pulled to a stop sign made right hand turn shifted into second gear and this thing took off like a bat out of hell poped the front wheel and would not slow down i had to hit the kill switch.i pulled over and tried to turn it off and back on when i started it back up in N it rev to over 10000 rpm by its self again and would not start correctly again so i pushed it back to the shop and let salemen and tech see what it was doing and both of them did not know what to say about it.so my bike in the shop i should hear back today and finD out what the problem is.They did say that they had another zx 10r came in totaled with 13 miles on it and the guy said the throttle stuck now I would take that with a grain of salt he was newbi but still it leaves me wondering if it stuck if OR it was rider error.well All i know is that i would consider myself a pretty good rider and boy did i have my hands full with this thing i can only guess what this would do to newbi but i have a pretty good idea considering that the newbi total his with 13 miles on it.
