Sounds like the electronic injection and "fly by wire" system must have some sort of issue. I assumed it was doing it with the throttle rolled to the closed position.

How many miles were on your bike when it started happening?

I love my 10r, but you are right, this much power could mean somebody getting hurt badly if they weren't very good in a crisis. That sort of acceleration in first or second gear means 100mph in a few quick seconds.

A question: When you pulled the clutch in, did it hit the limiter or did it stop around 10K? I am wondering if it is a system issue with the injection or if maybe the "traction control" system has a glitch. I can think of several things that might cause it. I am guessing you haven't added a power commander or anything like that or you wouldn't be taking it back to the dealer first.

Keep me updated please so I will be well informed if I ever need to take mine in for something like this.
