i prefered the 'custom' look of my bike without the badges. I think it looks much sexier without the gaudy plastic badges. ... i hear they're strategically placed to stop the tank from scratching if you accidently drop the bike though....

Plus in the UK the badges say VN900 ... I'd prefer it and probably would have kept them if they said 'Vulcan'.
