This thread is moving closer to The Mechanics Corner rather than the Projects department...
I removed the shock yesterday and fixed it. The lower attachment clevis had completely disengaged from the shock, as seen here. Everything is back on, and I even tightened the locking nut which I must have forgotten last time. I won't bore you with this so I kept it short.
