Insurance to cover any test rides on a motorcycle is astronomical.

Pretty smart of harley though....if a customer cannot test ride, they are not too likely to buy IMO.
So they go over to a Harley dealer, are offered a test ride, and a happy customer is a lot more likely to buy.
Sometimes in business you have to spend money, to make money.
Its a bit like a mechanic thinking he can save money by not buying tools.....sure you had no cash expense, but sure limits your income to.
