I installed my V&H Slash-Cut Staggerds on my 900 about 3 weeks ago. I installed my PCIII and Arlen Ness Big Sucker a few days later. I got my PCIII from fuelmoto. Jamie pre-loaded a map for my setup, so I am confident it is "tuned" correctly. I washed my bike about a week ago and did notice a little blue effect where the pipes bolt to the engine. I only noticed it, because I was being very detailed about the wash. I don't know about the pipes being blue anywhere else, because the heat shields to a great job of covering the pipes. These pipes have the V&H anti-blue technology, so they are not supposed to blue. However, that doesn't mean they won't.

I don't think anyone can say with certainty that the pipes will or will not turn blue on your bike. I can say that you cannot see the little bit of blue I mentioned, on my bike, unless you are looking very closely where the pipes bolt up.

As for the install, it was simple. Just follow the directions supplied by V&H, and you will have no problems. I really like the sound of mine.
