well.. i found hundreds of pages saying the contraire, including BMW German reports etc..

but as you might want an Internal opinion this is what U.S Energy department think about hidorgen vehicles:

If you google aboout safety of hybrid cars youll find hundred of reports, but even you try harder to find a decent report saying the contraire you wont, i could find just a yahoo answer saying the contraire!
