Maybe that's the motorcyclists version of the blow-up carpool doll that cages can get to put in the passenger seat and then use the carpool lane!
As far as my helmet, I did have that one and a half helmet that day. Was pretty cold in the morning so I wore the FF and then switched later in the day when it warmed up. Can never be too prepared for the elements!
