scratches be gone!!!!
well in the first one it's slightly harder to see, but the area reflecting my face is the part which was polished. you can just about make out a few vertical and horizontal grooves right in the centre of the picture which i didn't manage to fully polish out.
and in the second pic... you can best see the part of the end-cap which is the polished part. The bit which reflects the most light. You can see fine scuff marks. It's a slightly different finish to the rest of the cap, but you really can't tell unless you're a few inches away.
i'm starting to wonder what else i can polish now!!
