Got my cap screws and plastic thumb screw knobs today. Using them for the windshield & bags, removed the allen head screws from the windshield and replaced them with:

4 Metric M8 Knurl Black M8X16MM Stainless Steel (Knob and screws bought already pressed together)


Made up the following to replace the saddlebags #10 metric bolts for a quick removal of bag for cleaning etc. Works great.

4-Metric 18-8 SS Socket Head Cap Screws M8 Thread, 80 MM length, 1.25 pitch

4 M8 26MM Dia. Knurl Black Knobs. (Press fitted them together)

Replaced the bag bolts.

Now that I have this all put, I think I need to get some star washers to makes sure they don't loosen up while riding due to vibrations.

Everything has to be purchased it lots of 25 for knobs, 10 on the long bag bolts, and 10 on the windshield prepressed thumb screws. Total cost less shipping was $15.20, well worth the money just for the convenience.
