We took the kids to Disney World about 10 yrs. ago when they were 10 & 11. We wanted to wait til they were old enough to remember it. We planned our itinerary around the kids and their interests, but we had a blast also!! Disney World is definitely for all ages!!
I bought the book and researched it for months beforehand. Wanted to be well informed so we could decide ahead of time, what we wanted to see and what we could do without.
Definitely do the park hopper pass, and stay in Disney. It's a little more, but well worth it!! A week is plenty of time to see everything. We went for 4 days and were satisfied. And I agree...The fireworks on Main St. are awesome and The Tower of Terror is a MUST!!
