So far there are 3 recalls for the 2008 KLR650.
1. muffler bolts
2. signal lights
3. main wiring harness.....it can rub thru, and cause the bike to die, due to electrical loss.
It is somewhat common, I have already seen an 08 do it myself, and I fixed it for the customer, prior to the recall being issued.
