I did 770 miles on my 800 drifter over two days. I Blew out the tank vents before leaving, and never filled passed the baffle, and had no problems with the engine dying. (two weeks ago I traveled 300 miles in one day, and the engine died a dozens times on this trip, but I did over-fill the tank in hind-sight)
