The zero map is available to have the bike run in stock form. If you load that map it's like the Commander isn't there. As for the + and - values, at times in the RPM range and throttle positions you can have a lean or rich condition. The Power Commander has the capability to remove fuel to lean the mix or add to richen at every 250 RPM and throttle position.
