It's not possible to lose 10% fuel mileage without something else going on since you're putting in ONLY 2.5% maximum less energy per gallon.
If you've lost 10% fuel economy, there's something else going on. I bet you didn't know what your gas mileage was before and only started paying attention when ethanol was added.
My gas mileage goes down a good bit by Nov. compared to Mar. when I start riding, the reason being in Mar. I'm extremely cautious, by Nov. I'm running the **** out of the bike and fuel mileage suffers from running near WOT much of the time.
But at even at 48 mpg, I'm not too concerned.
