RoadBurners but only a K&N filter, so I'm probably just wishing for the power and 'feel' that I'm hoping for, but wont get until I upgrade the intake. I'm leaning toward the BAK. It seems to me to be a little simpler and less to buy than the 'Thunder'. Is this true and any opinions on the BAK?

The Baron's kit is sold for each specific bike model and contains the bike specific backing plate to mount the filter. The Thunder kit is sold by the type of filter you want and buying the adapter for your specific bike. They cost about the same and provide the same performance gains. Buy the one that "grabs" you. I have the BAK.
