Vulcan Voyager: so far so good
Picked mine up 3 weeks ago.
Bad news:
windscreen too high...I'll remedy that.
a bit of a rattle at low speed down in fork covers (I'll fix that too)
Radio programming is not intuitive and manual is less than helpful (kids will fix that when they're home)
Good news:
Handles extremely well at low speeds
my wife has a delicate derriere and loves the seat
good power in lower 4 (5th and 6th are overdrives)
$6,000 to $9,000 (Canadian) cheaper than Electra Glides
$1,500 to $3,000 cheaper than Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki contenders, nicer to look at and better equipped too.
I got 45.6 mpg (IMP GAL) on a 600+ KM trip on July 1 on backroads and secondary highways; and I've only got 2000 kms on it. I bet that by the end of the summer I'll get over 50 mpg.
