If the four wheel drive will not engage, and there are no error codes, then you need to check the front axle actuator by disassembling the actuator from the axle and testing it live to make sure it is switching by moving the output.

If it is not running and switching then you need to test the relay for the front actuator. There are two relays, and both are identical, but only one is the front axle engagement - I just do not remember off the top of my head which one it is.

If the relay is good, and you hear the actuator motor running but nothing happening on the output shift mechanism, then it is the actuator.
