If you suspect the ECM get the machine scanned by your Kawasaki dealer. It will save you hours and untold dollars replacing parts that are not defective.

If the battery is going south and not holding the proper load voltage that will give similar symptoms, and will fry the ECM from excessive voltage in the charging circuit. So have the battery properly tested too.
