Lived up in the Flathead near Glacier for a number of years and spent lots of time hiking the area. More of that to come this summer as well. Had an incredible ride over it on my old V900 last summer. Probably another one this fall if all goes well. Check out the Waterton area and the Banff/Canmore area - the mountains get even BIGGER!
Had a nice ride two days ago - full day ride from Missoula up through the Seeley Swan valley with the snow-capped Mission Mountain Range on the left and the Bob Marshall Wilderness peaks on the right, lunch at Bigfork, then down along Flathead Lake (stop for a quick swim) and back home to Missoula. Started from Missoula at 7am in the 40F range and ended at 92F by 5pm. Thankfully no humidity like you folks in the South!
