There's a bike shop in Dover Ohio, Lehman's Big Open Road, that has gotten a huge inventory of 70s-80s Japanese bikes for salvage. Owen's also a Z1 guy at heart. You can call them at 330-602-6736, I believe they're working on a web site.

I am also doing an early Kawasaki part myself, because I have a 90 Zephyr 550 and no one listed or was apparently willing to make the part I needed. I make the manual cam chain tensioners for Kawasakis, both the diamond body like the 550 uses and the square body the air cooled 650-1000 fours used. It is apparent these two bodies are the only two Kawasaki uses, with the plunger depth being the only difference. Visit the web site with the short cut in my signature.
