Hey guys, i got a 1995 kx125 that i bought from a guy that raced it, so i took off the top end and the piston and ring looked fine so i bought new gaskets and put it all back together. Once i did that i got it running and it would just die if i let go of the gas and it had a horrible noise from the top end, but anyways i took it down the road maybe 100 ft and the powerband wouldn't hit, i had it at full throttle and it just died down and turned off and wouldn't kick over. the next day somehow it kicked over and i got it running and it would idle somewhat then at full throttle bog down and die. i already took it apart once so i ain't doing it again, im gonna have the kawasaki dealer fix it, but anyone know the cost of a new top end when a shop does it?? i just wanna know about the price i will be charged, and don't tell me to do it myself cause it's at the shop, but if anyone knows why it would do that or the cost then let me know. thanx
