well i havent been on in a while, so here i am. ive had my bike since oct. and ive already put almost 2500 miles on it now. i still havent gotten around to fixing the battery problem b/c i havent had any more trouble with it. the gas mpg still sucks. i rode about 300 miles this weekend; mostly insterstate. going up i got 100 miles outa a little more then a half a tank. then once i got off and onto secondary roads, it dropped pretty quick. on the way home, i was holding steady at around 80-85 and was at 75 miles at a half tank. i switched to 93 oct. fuel. im not sure why im still getting bad mpg. maybe i need a intake upgrade and a power commander. i was thinking about pulling the baffles out to let it exhale a little better, but ive been told its to loud already, so i cant. any ideas?
oh, and i ordered some highway pegs last week. i got the kuryakyn(sp?) pilot pegs for my highway bar.
