Help the needy please.... I have a general tire pressure question.
My stock tires on the meanstreak say 36psi cold for max payload. The manual also mentions 36psi cold for a 405lb load. My question is can you run a lower pressure if you are not carrying any load(passenger,accessories,etc.).
Might sound like a ignorant question but I do not know the answer since my truck tires are rated at 50 psi for max load but I never run them that high due to the pain it would cause

Also the tires on my bike were only about 26 from the dealer when I first got it.
