so i de-baffled my pipes last week. its extremely loud and changed the sound of the bike. before it had kind of a choppy sound, which i liked, but now its deep and throaty. when im riding and pull the clutch to shift, it gets very loud, kinda like a jake brake on a big rig. its awesome. i think it might be a little too loud though. i was riding with some guys on sunday and the guy leading was about 20yds ahead of me and he could hear my bike loud and clear even through a full face helmet. i also set off my first car alarm and a bike alarm at the bike show on sunday. on our way home, since i took my bags off, i had a very heavy backpack on. after crusing on the interstate for an hour going 90-95mph with that back pack, i some how managed to pull the muscles in my chest and shoulder on the left side. i had to go to the ER on monday b/c it hurt so bad. so i wont be riding any long distances for a few weeks.

Sorry to hear about your chest... feel better

Its hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like you have two pipes... my stock one is two into one.

I may try to find pipes for the 800 drifter and a hypercharger kit.. Dont want to debaffle the pipes yet... but it sounds like an option!
