I've noticed that some of the posters here sometimes use their real names. And I've also noticed that some of us call each other by our real names instead of our usernames. I like to use people's real names (as long as they don't mind); I find that real names are easier to remember than usernames. But I'm menopausal, and I can barely remember my own name half the time. So while I might remember a poster's real name day, the next day I've forgotten it. And I really would like to reply to people in a more personal way, especially when they call me Julie instead of jukief.
I'd like to make a list for my personal use to help me remember people's real names (until such a time--if it ever happens--when I can remember without it). I was wondering if those of you who don't mind sharing your real names would reply here with them. I find it hard to keep people straight until I've met them in person, but I really like the more personal touch of using first names. I'm on several other forums, too, which just compounds the problem. So many people to remember! But once I get used to using people's names, I usually remember them. Usually.
Ah, those lovely days when I had more than a couple of brain cells...
Thanks everyone,
Julie
