Not sure if I qualify as a senior citizen yet (just turned 50), but I'll try to keep it straight. LOL
I have a horrendous last name (or, rather, my husband does; I just inherited it). It's Feuerbacher. And you wouldn't believe what people do to it. Just yesterday I got a piece of mail addressed to Julie Feverhacker.
So I can sympathize with the Carlos, Arlo, and Marco.
Where's Penticton? I love BC; I've wanted to move to Vancouver Island for the past 20 years. Don't know whether I'll ever get to...
