That's the funny thing about wings, they must be designed for short people, cause they are very cramped for me and I'm only 6' tall with a 34" inseam so it's not like I'm really tall or anything. I just don't see how people find them comfortable because you get totally locked into one position and you can't move, forward, backwards and your feet are locked onto the pegs. Just won't find me on one anytime soon. But there are lots of very comfortable bikes out there for sure. I'm like you, I prefer the meanstreak without the windshield for the barebones ride, the view over the gauges, the wind blast etc. but man when it's cold like it has been, give me heated grips, seats and an electric windshield any day.
