So I bought some new tires for my Ninja 500R. They're Maxxis Promax M6102
(Front) & M6103
(Rear) tires & I had them installed at my favorite local service center. These tires look great compared to the OEM Bridgestone models and they cost about half as much. It turned out that I also needed new front brake pads so I had them installed, too. Of course, I've got to go through the break in period on the tires and pads, but I'm excited to have new stuff on the bike.
Now the gear rack: At one point, I went back into the service lobby to ask how things were coming along & noticed a
Joe Rocket display rack sitting unused in the corner. I've been needing a place to hang my gear in the garage & had intended to set up some kind of rack system. So, I asked the owner what he would take for the rack. He said to give him a minute to think about it. After a while, he came back and said $25

& I said, "SOLD!" My dad was with me in his pickup truck, so I loaded it up & took it home. I'm going to have to add some supports between the rack and the garage wall, but I'm absolutely thrilled to have such a cool place for my gear. It came with quite a few hooks that fit in the metal mesh like pegboard & I'm sure I can come up with some other mounting ideas, too. Just had to share this.
