Sounds like a a similar issue I had. I finally put mine into the shop and told them what I was epxeriencing. Took many hours of diagnosing, but they claim to have found a wire that was busted and fixed it. NOw it runs great. I added the Techlusion TFI and a Hyperthruster air ram to my machine and will put on vance and hines exhaust this winter. Get less mileage now but boy do I have power. Get your shop to run a full diagnostic on your bike. I too couldnt find any loose wires etc.
