I did a search on the forum and didnt find anything on this. I just picked up my bike this week (06 Ninja 250r) it has 4600 miles on it and it was broken in properly, 600 mile service, etc done to the bike. The previous owner took great care of the bike and excellent maintenance on it. I know how to change the oil on cars, trucks, etc but have never done one on a bike yet. I know it should be fairly easy. But I would like a more in detail which plug to look for to unbolt to drain the oil (so I don't unbolt the wrong one) and where the oil filter is, etc. I am not due for another oil change for 1400 miles, but I would like to get a head start on how to keep up on the bike, how to change the oil, etc. So any insight you can give me would be much appreciated.
