When putting everything back. I like to put oil on the filter so its pre soaked so its not completely dry when starting the engine. Make sure to put some oil on the o-rings.
I also like to fill up the metal oil filter on my vehicle and VFR so oil reaches the engine faster.

the o ring don't come with the kawasaki filter. they do come with it if you get the hi flow fliltro.
