I think we're finally getting to the place where it's going to be too cold to ride for awhile. We'll likely get a few days here and there with decent weather, but those days are going to become fewer and further between. Right now its mid afternoon and only 40 degrees outside.

MrsBennice just went back to work full-time, so I'm driving the kids to school in the AM anyway, so it looks like my commuting days will be limited to days when she's off or the kids are on break. Of course there's always the weekends, but evenings are too dark and cold by the time I'm done with work.

A couple bad things I've found about riding a sport bike in weather that's too cold...

1.) When you're cold and numb your reaction time seems to decrease
2.) Sometimes vision is temporarily obscured by fogging visor or watery eyes
3.) Cold tires + cold pavement = bad things, man
4.) Cagers don't expect to see a motorcycle on the roads in colder weather, so the 'hit by a numbnut' risk multiplies
