Lived in Fairbanks from 1953 to 1966 and your post brought back many memories of how real Alaskan people will treat you. Once they accept you they will give you the shirt of their back's, never seen it anywhere else in my travels. I remember riding my Honda Superhawk on that gravel not much fun!
